Still Sharp Will Help You Understand the Pattern Before
You Simply Push Harder.
Learn how to spot the pattern behind changes in your sharpness, energy, sleep and working capacity - even if you're still performing well and can't quite explain why doing so suddenly takes so much more out of you.
NEXT WEBINAR - Thursday 22nd October 8pm BST
Not because I think you need fixing. And not because Still Sharp is going to hand you one neat explanation for everything you’ve noticed.
But because if being the capable woman you’ve always been is quietly requiring more from you, that deserves your curiosity — not simply more effort.
Come and spend under an hour with me exploring the pattern, connecting some of the dots and asking better questions about what may deserve your attention next.
Come as you are. Reflect privately. Share only if you choose.
"What has changed for me?"
If maintaining your usual standard is taking more from you than it used to, give yourself the opportunity to understand the pattern rather than simply pushing harder.

The hidden cost of still performing...
From the outside, nothing may look particularly different. You’re still delivering. Still making decisions. Still being the person other people rely on. But privately, you may have noticed that being that woman is taking more out of you than it used to.
So you compensate. You prepare more. Check again. Push through the tiredness. Perhaps you’ve already tried managing your stress better, improving your sleep or being more disciplined — only to wonder why you still don’t feel quite like yourself.
But what if your capability isn’t the problem? What if the extra effort you’re using to maintain your usual standard is actually something worth paying attention to — rather than another reason to expect more from yourself?

Because the obvious KPI is still green: you’re delivering, deciding and getting the job done — but there’s another measure underneath your performance that may reveal far more about what’s actually changed...
The extra read-through, the additional rehearsal, checking the decision one more time can all look like ordinary thoroughness — until you recognise the subtle pattern connecting them...
Feeling less consistently sharp doesn’t automatically mean you’re becoming less capable — and understanding the difference could completely change the question you’ve been asking yourself...
Working harder can be remarkably effective at keeping your performance at its usual level — but that very success can make an important change surprisingly easy to miss...
Changes in sharpness, sleep, energy and working capacity don’t always fit neatly into a single explanation — and seeing how the pieces might connect is often more useful than reaching for the most obvious label...
Knowing what might be contributing is one thing. Understanding how those pieces connect for you is where the real insight begins...
What if working harder isn't the answer...
but part of the evidence?
When you’re used to being capable, preparing more, checking again and pushing through can feel like the responsible response when something feels different. But if maintaining your usual standard suddenly requires significantly more effort, that extra effort is information worth paying attention to.
The smarter question may no longer be,
"How can I push harder?"
but..."Why am I having to?"
A clearer way to recognise when maintaining your usual standard is requiring more from you — even when nobody else can see a difference.
A better understanding of why increased preparation, checking, effort and recovery can be useful information rather than something to simply push through.
A practical way to separate your underlying capability from your current capacity — so a change in how work feels doesn’t automatically become a judgement about what you’re capable of.
A broader picture of the factors that may influence sharpness, sleep, energy and working capacity — without assuming there has to be one universal explanation.
A clearer distinction between knowing what is generally “healthy” and understanding what may actually deserve attention in your own situation.
Better questions to take forward — so your next step starts with understanding what’s changed, rather than automatically trying harder or adding another generic solution.
This isn't another list of things you
"should" be doing
You probably already know the standard advice: sleep better, manage your stress, exercise, eat well.
Still Sharp starts somewhere different. Because knowing all the things that might be affecting you isn’t the same as knowing which ones actually matters for you.
It’s about connecting the dots: stepping back, recognising what's changed and beginning to understand how the different pieces of your own experience fit together.
Because the risk isn’t that you suddenly become incapable. It’s that preparing more, checking more and pushing harder become so normal that you stop noticing how much maintaining your usual standard is costing you.
Not because I think you need fixing. And not because Still Sharp is going to hand you one neat explanation for everything you’ve noticed.
But because if being the capable woman you’ve always been is quietly requiring more from you, that deserves your curiosity — not simply more effort.

I know what it’s like to be the woman people expect to have things handled.
I spent years in senior corporate finance and leadership roles, including at General Manager level, where being capable, dependable and on top of things was simply part of who I was professionally.
So, I understand how unsettling it can be when you reach midlife and begin noticing that some things feel different — even though you’re still doing the job, still making the decisions and still fundamentally you.
The natural response can be to compensate. Prepare more. Get more organised. Try harder. Assume you need to manage yourself better.
My own experience, together with my professional work and training, taught me to ask a different question. Rather than rushing to decide whether the answer is stress, hormones, age, diet or something else, what happens if we first get curious about the wider picture?
Today, I’m an accredited coach with specialist training including a Diploma in Eating Psychology and training in Intuitive Eating.
I created Still Sharp because I don’t want capable women to compensate for change for so long that the extra effort simply becomes normal.
I want you to leave feeling understood, not diagnosed. Curious, not worried.
And able to begin with the question:
"What has changed for me?"
Not because I think you need fixing. And not because Still Sharp is going to hand you one neat explanation for everything you’ve noticed.
