About Me

I’m Julie Sullivan, an Accredited Coach and Eating Psychologist, with a career that has taken me through finance, management, HR and recruitment.

For much of my working life, I’ve been in corporate environments. I know what it’s like to work in demanding roles, juggle competing priorities, make decisions, solve problems and be the person others rely on.

I’ve also navigated menopause while working in corporate life.

That experience changed my understanding of what it means to feel like yourself and perform at your best. I experienced first-hand how things such as sleep, energy, concentration and confidence can shift — while the expectations of everyday life carry on regardless.

My own curiosity about why we feel and function the way we do led me deeper into coaching, eating psychology, nutrition, wellbeing and the connection between how we live and how we perform. The more I learned, the more convinced I became that women deserve better than being told to simply put up with feeling less like themselves as they get older.

Today, I bring those different parts of my experience together in my coaching: my corporate career, my professional training and my own lived experience.

I’m practical by nature. I’m interested in what works in real life — when you have responsibilities, people who need you and a diary that isn’t suddenly going to clear itself because you’ve decided to prioritise your wellbeing.

And I practise what I teach. I’m in my late 50s, I run my own business, I lift weights, I keep learning and I’m still ambitious about what comes next. I’m also a grandmother to two young girls, and I have the energy to get down on the floor and play with them, run around after them and properly enjoy being part of their lives.

In many ways, I feel better now than I did at 35.

That’s why I don’t believe getting older should mean accepting a diminished version of ourselves. I believe we can feel strong, sharp, energised and excited about what’s still ahead of us.
